3 When, after the birth of Jesus, people came to know the matter, they suspected Marry. Mary, knowing full well that it was useless telling them that her son was born miraculously without a father, and knowing that her son was not an ordinary one but a messenger of God, only pointed to the baby, and immediately Jesus started speaking in support of his mother's chastity and to the fact that he was sent by God to the people of Israel to call them to the right path. -back-
4 Mary used to worship God in a Synagogue somewhere in the eastern part of Jerusalem. -back-

6 Here infant Jesus started speaking to the accusers of his mother in support of her chastity. This incident of Jesus speaking from the cradle is not mentioned in any of the four Gospels. -back-
